GOST R Declaration of Conformity for Medical Devices

From 25/01/2011 to all medical devices, with the exception of eyeglasses, and rubber of condoms, instead of the certificate of conformity GOST R is issued a declaration of conformity GOST R (only update the list of products subject to certification mandatory GOST R, resolution of the gov. No 906 of 13.11.2010). This means that the foreign manufacturer without a permanent establishment in Russia, for now, then they can not obtain a certificate of conformity for serial production.

 

In Russia has been issued the first Customs Union certificate of conformity

Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Russia was issued the first certificate of conformity of the Customs Union. The company that can claim the distinction of being the first owner of the new type of certificate, which can be used on the whole territory of the Customs Union, is situated in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Please note that the Customs Union code entered into force on 01/07/2010.


 

The technical regulation on the safety of gas appliances entered into force

16 March 2011

On 1st January 2011 came into force the Technical Regulation on the safety of gas appliances. The new rule provide for mandatory application of technical rules on safety and energy efficiency of appliances burning gaseous fuel. Particular attention is paid to the identification of equipment, the standards referred to in the certification, environmental protection, chemical properties, mechanical properties, thermal resistance and electrical protection, explosion protection, the marking, packaging and manuals.

 

The technical regulation on low-voltage equipment has been suspended

The technical regulation on safety for low-voltage equipment has been suspended until 31/12/2011. This decision was taken by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev as a result of numerous requests made to the Russian government by the entrepreneurial sector.
Please note that the technical regulation for low-voltage equipment, entered into force in Russia on 31/12/2010.

 

VNIIS restarts to release the explanatory letter to the Customs

16 December 2010

On 13 December 2010 the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, V. Salamatov sent a letter to the Director of the Federal Customs Administration, entitled "On the issue of termination letter indicating for imported products."
This measure was adopted by virtue of the abolition of the Commission of the Customs Union art. 5 of the Regulations concerning the procedure for importing the products against which the Customs Union is expected to mandatory certification.
